NXCAE - Tutorial to apply contact representation in a Sol103 Modal Analysis

Hi,

In NX CAE, Solution 103 is modal analysis. The purpose of modal analysis is to find the mode (natural frequency) of the model. However, by default the contact representation is not included in Sol103. This tutorial show us how contact can be represented in sol103, by applying contact stiffness matrix.

The benefit of adding the contact stiffness in modal analysis is:
1.      To be able to perform a multi part assembly modal analysis.

Please find attached old tutorial.

Kind regards,
Tuw
